No. The AI Assistant is included free on every paid tier — it’s a BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) model, so you pay your AI provider (Claude, GPT-4, Bedrock, or Gemini) directly for usage and Askalot adds no fee or markup on top. It stays a separate opt-in toggle rather than a bundled feature, so enabling AI is an explicit, auditable choice: an organization whose policy forbids third-party AI — or that wants its own guardrails over agent operations — can simply leave it off. The core platform (QML editor, validation, campaign management, survey execution, data export) works fully without it. An on-demand guardrail / hook-based gate over agent operations is on the roadmap.

On the Business plan, your organization runs as a private org on our production infrastructure — your team shares QML files and respondents collaboratively, fully isolated from other organizations. On Enterprise, you get a dedicated infrastructure environment with your own custom domain (e.g., sirway.yourcompany.askalot.io) — a separate compute environment for maximum data sovereignty and compliance.

Business is a base subscription — $499/month, or $399/month billed annually ($4,788/year) — plus $39 per seat per month on top ($31/seat billed annually). The base covers the private org and platform; the per-seat charge scales the cost with your team. This is deliberate: past roughly 30 seats the base-plus-seats total exceeds Enterprise’s flat $20,000/year subscription (all-inclusive, no per-user fees), so larger teams should move to Enterprise. Seat-based self-serve billing is rolling out; Business onboarding is sales-assisted in the meantime — contact sales and we’ll set the base plus the right seat count.
